Are you passionate about amplifying brand messages to the world, digitally? We’re looking for a Digital Campaign Manager – someone who is an absolute leader and expert in the world of digital campaign management and activation, with a focus on social advertising and programmatic media. We have two Digital Campaign Manager roles available:

  • The Senior Role will service Enterprise Clients

  • The Experienced Role will service SME Clients

 

What The Role’s About:


A Digital Campaign Manager at The Social Craft is an absolute leader and expert in the world of digital campaign management and activation, with a focus on social advertising and programmatic media. The Digital Campaign Manager will have the opportunity to learn more about data driven advertising, real time bidding, talent media and industry leading platforms. You will learn to work with all major global technologies like LinkedIn, Google, TikTok and people engagement platforms.


It’s a unique role where you will be responsible for complete roll out and activation of digital media across multiple markets and learn more about the data driven media employer branding landscape around the globe.


We are looking for talent who is curious by nature, talent who is an action orientated team player who can also work, be inspired and motivated independently as well as the keen interest to continually self-develop in their area and space from both a technical and people management point of view.


Day to Day Key Accountabilities:

  • Works closely with the Head of Client engagement to set up campaigns across various platforms

  • Works directly with the Head of Client Engagement & finance to ensure all tracking is in place and mapping correctly and continuously monitor campaigns to ensure everything is serving correctly and no underspends or overspends are made

  • Coordinates with the internal studio team to aid in identifying, reporting and resolving technical or creative placement issues

  • Provides the 'technical expertise' needed to communicate with the client and explain campaign progress/address any blocking issues as well as escalations of comments, best practice or red flags that may need to be addressed

  • Builds campaign media plans, including run dates and budgets that match with the overall goal of the advertiser/client

  • Exports data from the ad server interface and combines it in a correct way with the relative platform data & benchmarks if needed

  • Being able to reach digital media goals and targets for a wide variety of clients across their strategic media platforms

  • Maintains an in-depth knowledge of the campaign management best practice, tools and tips as well as the programmatic eco-system, keeping up to date with new ad technology functionality and understanding the potential opportunities presented by specific technology;

  • Contributes to updating best practices and offers insights on how to improve campaign effectiveness;

  • Offers consultative ideas to the studio, Client and sales team to help them with pitching new business, improving campaigns and upselling current media bookings

  • The ability to take cross client online media campaigns to a higher level; suggesting how they can leverage current content to upsell into new media budgets and platforms

  • Quick and independent decision-making; the ability to problem solve and escalate queries and issues as needed

  • Translation of performance and results into the wider brand story; compiling weekly reports for clients, bi-weekly face to face meetings to support the Head of Client Engagement and the final reporting & QBR’s for strategic enterprise clients

  • Being decisive and stress resistant in a fast-changing work environment; navigating a start-up culture and developing and innovating around key processes


Essential Professional Skills:

  • Good command of the English language to ensure data is translated into insights

  • Highly literate in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Excellent command of LinkedIn Campaign Manager

  • TikTok Advertising Studio

  • Understanding of basic statistics; and data management

  • Intermediary experience in bidding strategies and optimisation of digital platforms


Key Experiences Preferred:

  • Numerical and Analytical experience

  • Managing digital media budgets over R500 000.00

  • Influencing & navigating people to achieve the most desired outcome
